2011 Summer Program

Be A Star!
Our summer program is nine weeks of ridiculous fun, beginning May 23rd and ending July 29th. The clubs will be open Monday through Friday at 7:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM. We will be closed the week of Independence Day (July 4th-8th) as well as the week before school starts, reopening on the first day of school (August 8th).

Special Activities
We offer a full range of activities that appeal to all youth. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to develop confidence, a positive self-image, and to reach their full potential. Our programs span five core areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation (see "Our Core Programs").

Summer Swimming Program
Additionally, all members attending our summer program are given the opportunity to enroll in swimming lessons at no additional charge. Our swimming pools are supervised by certified lifeguards at all times. Swimming lessons are conducted for every age group. Once a member has passed his or her swimming test (administered by a lifeguard), he or she is allowed to participate in "free swim" every afternoon.

Cost and Parent Orientation
Enrollment in the summer program costs $165 (per youth), plus an additional $20 membership fee if the enrollee is not already a member. Upon enrollment in the summer program, parents are required to attend Parent Orientation before their child can participate. Parent Orientation will be held on May 10, 12, 17, 19 & 26 at 5:30 PM for all club locations. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the orientation, please contact the unit director appropriate to your location.

Payment & Refund Policy/ Late Fee Policy
All membership and summer program fees are non-refundable. The entire balance of $165 must be paid before your child can attend the summer program. In addition, late pick-ups (after 6:00 PM) will result in the assessment of a $10 late fee, along with $5 for every 15 minutes thereafter. All late fees must be paid in full before your child may resume participation in the summer program.
